Size 6. Stores Ref. 22c/365. (Ht. 5'11"- 6', Ch. 40-42", Wt. 36-38", Seat 41-43". Leg 31.5"). The material is in very good condition with only light soiling and marking. No repairs or damage but possible fitted with additional fur trim at the cuffs at some point - mow removed and leaving tell-tale marks. Verdigris evident on the belt adjusters. Original zips - all but the legs complete with cloth puller tabs. The main zip has quite a few teeth missing but will still work from top to bottom with care (photo 9). Both sleeve zips have verdigris deposits but are functioning (photo 8). The side entry zips have considerable verdigris and are probably best left closed. Unfortunately both leg zips have also have substantial verdigris and loss of teeth (photo 7). Both are semi-closed and one lacks the slider. With cloth hanger, belt, label & A.M. Crown stamp. This suit has been officially modified for use with electrically heated clothing underneath with provision for the egress of a three pin plug and lead (AP2450, Vol.1. S1.Ch1, para 14). The suit is modified by cutting a slit tow inches long in the gabardine to allow the emergence of the main supply lead from the electrically heated waistcoat or lining. This can be seen in photo No.5, protected by a flap of 3" square gabardine. Far rarer than the wired 1941 pattern suit. A good suit let down a bit by the zips. Large size. Displays well.
