Stores Ref. 6D/624. This is the later pattern variant of the E-mask complete with anti-suffocation/inspiratory valve and having an elasticated webbing harness. The rubber is generally in very good condition but has hardening around the edges resulting in some cracking and minor loss. The overall shape is quite reasonable but can be improved further due to its flexibility. The chamois inner edging is complete if somewhat soiled. The harness is quite good, retaining some colour and elasticity. The press-studded leather section is good. The mask is fitted with an excellent type 25 microphone wired to a good light tan external wiring loom, early brown cased bell jackplug and 10A/12401 receivers. The microphone rubber sealing ring has hardened but this can be replaced easily/cheaply. A very small section of the original oxygen tube remains attached. Good '+' used overall.
