Brass cased compass with black painted finish. Approx. 0.5" diameter. 'Star' rotor with luminous dots to indicate North & South. These were issued to airmen with their escape maps, money and saw blades etc prior to missions. The most commonly found escape compass today. Very nice working condition. Stock code E17403.
