FL30154-2. Manufactured by p.n.f. Later war example of the 10-30 B-2 schwimmweste with plastic fittings on the inflation tube and CO2 bottle mounting point. The rubberized canvas is in reasonable condition. It is a little faded, has rust stains and has stiffened in places but remains largely flexible. There are a few small holes, mainly around the edges as shown in the photographs. Complete with all tie straps/rings, waist belt (has been restitched and appears to have been replaced) and buckle. The lower front tie and buckle strap are both a bit ragged and strap rings and buckle are corroded. Very good oral inflation tube/valve and CO2 bottle (FL30153-1, dated 8-44). Unfortunately the short pipe/nut section that connects the bottle to the vest is missing but it shouldn't be too difficult to mock something up. Common to late production examples, this schwimmweste has no label and the reference number and manufacturer's details are printed directly onto the canvas. Unusually this example also has a Nazi eagle/swastika stamp behind the neck section. Not the best example but a decent solid display piece. Stock code MW27635.
