By G.Q. Parachute Assembly, Back Type, Mk.51A, Stores reference 15A/1378786. Comprised of a G.Q. Harness, Combined Parachute & Safety, stores reference 15A/1670-99-193-1615, dated 21 July 1970. This is manufactured in dark grey-black nylon webbing with quick-release adjustable buckles on both the front suspension and leg straps. It also features a MK.15 quick release box, stores reference 15A/198 - 9246, that connects to the unusual interlocking plates attached to the webbing. The large sandy coloured Pack, Type 'B' Mk.19, stores reference 15A/946 (pack alone) is dated 27 August 1975. It is complete with original twin bungee cords and rip cord tube that links to a short waistbelt on the left side carrying the rip cord handle and QRB attachment point. The assembly is complete and in very good used condition, undamaged but with some normal wear and soiling. The canopy is absent. A very interesting and unusual postwar variant. Stock code M24375.
