RAF Chipmunk Flight Instruments

P/b, 21 x 29.5cm. 82pp.  First Issue, January 1991.  Printed and published by Headquarters, RAF Support Command.  A handbook providing information on the various instruments found in the Chipmunk including Gyroscopes, Artificial Horizon, Turn & Slip Indicator, Direction Indicator, Compass, Altimeter, Vertical Speed Indicator and Air Speed Indicator.  Illustrated throughout.  Light wear and use but in very good overall condition.  This belonged to a pilot who joined the RAF in 1963 and flew with 111, 11 and 92 squadrons on Lightnings, Phantoms, Tornadoes, Devons and Chipmunks.  He also flew with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, piloting both the Spitfire and Hurricane.  Purchased directly from the pilot.  Stock code P23188.
