RAF Poster 137. Royal Air Force Distinguishing Flags and Star Plates. Approximately 76 x 50cm. Printed 12/62. An official poster illustrating the distinguishing flags flown on service motor cars, the distinguishing star plates used on cars of air rank officers and the Masthead distinguishing flags used on an RAF station. The latter were flown at the station masthead when the RAF ensign is flown at the peak. The poster has been folded and has some soiling and minor creasing, otherwise in very good condition.
