HGU-39/P designed for chemical/biological warfare use with the MBU-13/P oxygen mask. Circa 1980s. Manufactured with a white painted fibreglass shell lined in polystyrene. It has a nylon webbing suspension system, integral ear cups, receivers, wiring and external avionics socket at the back. Also complete with oxygen mask studs, externally fitted cast aluminium oxygen mask connectors and a nylon chinstrap. The helmet shell is identical to the SPH-4 but is not fitted with a visor and the moulded holes for visor fitting are not drilled. There is fairly minor scratching and wear to the paint and the lining is generally good. One of the receivers is loose (still wired but loose within the earcup) but overall condition is very good and the helmet displays very well. Stock code H26120.
