Paper, approximately 49 x 37cm (19 x 15.5"). Printed by the Craftsman Press, Hailsham, Sussex for the Royal Air Forces Association 'Wings Appeal' for the Battle of Britain anniversary in the early 1960s. Nice period artwork showing a pilot in flying kit with vapour trails from a dogfight in the sky behind him. This example was used in Torquay for the week beginning Saturday September 14th (1963). The original date underneath reads 13th September so this is actually a re-used poster from 1959. Condition is quite good. It is a little soiled/marked in places and has some creasing, notably at the edges and lower corners. There are a couple of very small edge tears that have been repaired using acid free archival tape. Stock code P20207.
