Card box approximately 38x14x10cm (15x6x4"). Labelled 'Contract No.292/17/N774 (Con. 17C), GLOVES, SILK, 20 PAIRS, 8'. This originally contained 20 pairs of silk inner gloves manufactured by Dent Allcroft. The box was full when we acquired it some years ago from the son of a worker at the Dent's factory. The gloves have all been sold but this box would make a great display piece for your quartermaster store. It shows some age and wear but is in good overall condition. Stock code GA11364.
