A standard officer rank peaked cap albeit rather more unusul being of Commonwealth manufacture and in a very soft barathea with unsual chinstrap buttons. It measures approximately 56.5cm and is labelled as a size 71/8. The barathea cloth is quite clean and retains good colour. There is a tiny moth hole at the edge of the peak but nothing serious. It is fitted with a narrow leather chinstrap with little surface cracking, heavily domed plastic buttons, mohair band and King's crown bullion badge. The inner leather band is good and the cap is lined in black cotton with tailor's label at the centre. Named to 'Ellis'. A very good cap. Stock code UDFGFSA-1.
