By HCO. Stores reference 22c/961. Size medium. Standard WW2 issue Mk.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses. Grey-green tinted lenses set within steel wire frames with side-arms featuring 'wrap-around' earpieces. The frames are in excellent condition with very good hinges having little excess vertical or horizontal play. The lenses are equally good bar very light surface marks that are not visible in use. Even the mother of pearl nose rests are clean! War Department broad arrow marked with reference numbers clearly stamped into both sidearms. The original hard case has light wear and soiling and is marked up for the slightly later Mk.VIIIA (22c/1072). One of the best pairs we've had. Stock code G25126.
