By British American Optical. Stores reference 22c/961. Size medium. Standard WW2 issue Mk.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses. Grey-green tinted lenses set within steel wire frames with side-arms featuring 'wrap-around' earpieces. The frames are in excellent condition with very good hinges having little excess vertical or horizontal play. The lenses are equally good bar very light surface marks that are not visible in use. Air Ministry marked with reference numbers clearly stamped into one sidearm. The original hard case has light wear and soiling and has faint reference marks etc. A very nice pair. Stock code G27536.
