Code: G28142
By W.O.C. Stores reference 22c/961. Size medium. Standard WW2 issue Mk.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses. Grey-green tinted lenses set within steel wire frames with side-arms featuring 'wrap-around' earpieces. The frames are in good condition but have some light pitting and the hinges have quite a bit of horizontal play. The right lens has a small chip at the edge but this isn't visible in use and overall condition is very good. Air Ministry marked with reference numbers clearly stamped into one sidearm. The original hard case is marked for the slightly later Mk.VIIIA spectacles. It has wear and soiling and the 'spring' closure on the lid no longer functions. A reasonably good pair. Stock code G28142.
