By British American Optical. Stores Ref. 22c/962. Size large. Standard WW2 issue MK.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses with grey/green tinted lenses in steel wire frames with side-arms having 'wrap-around' ear pieces. The frames are in very good condition bar minor tarnishing and some play in the left hinge (vertical and lateral). The lenses have very light scratches but overall condition is very good. Air Ministry and ref. numbers stamped into arms. The original hard case is marked for the slightly later issue MK.VIII (22c/1072) which was identical. It is a little grubby but in good used condition.. Stores ref. G16890.
