By Vickers & Son Ltd. of Doncaster. Unsized but smallish - the inner circumference measures approximately 53.5cm. We would estimate approx. 61/2 - 63/4. Standard early peaked cap with green leather underpeak. Quite clean with only minor soiling and fading. No moth other than 2 small nips at the edge of the peak. Fitted with a lovely heavily padded bullion badge on a mohair band. The leather 'chinstrap' has some surface wear and one of the 'tails' is missing (see photo 7). The inner leather band is worn and approximately 50% has come unstitched. The fawn coloured satin lining is a bit grubby but undamaged. Nice printed silk label. A blue-grey satin lining is largely hidden by the greasepaper/oilcloth liner. Displays very well. Stock code U20036.
