'Specially Made In Glasgow For A. Hajee Essa & Co., Bombay'. A standard officer rank peaked cap. It measures approximately 54.5cm which equates to about a UK '63/4' (small). The barathea cloth is really quite clean, retains good colour and has just a couple of small moth nips on the crown. It is fitted with a narrow leather chinstrap which has minor surface cracking, cloth covered buttons, mohair band and a King's crown Warrant Officer rank badge with red stitching behind the crown. The inner leather band is good but some of the stitching is loose. It has a faint '7' marked but we believe the cap to be smaller than this. It belonged to Warrant Officer Minton and was purchased directly from the airman's son. We are awaiting some service details and will forward these once available. A very good cap.
