Privately tailored standard four pocket service dress tunic with a very nice semi-padded Royal Canadian bomb aimer's brevet, 'Canada' shoulder titles, flying officer rank lace and ribbons for the distinguished flying cross and Canadian Volunteer medals, the latter with silver Maple leaf denoting overseas service. R.C.A.F. buttons are used throughout. Other than a small seam split on the back just below the collar the tunic is just lightly soiled with a few very small moth nips. The blue-grey sateen lining shows wear and has some damage at the neck, top of the rear vent and inside the cuff areas. Labelled and named to a P/O J. Shore, service number 33030 (?). Dated 23.12.42. Could be researchable. A very good display piece. Stock code U21394.
