RAF Mk.14A Flying suit - ex BBMF pilot

RAF Coverall, Aircrew, MK.14A.  By Feuchter of Germany.  Stores reference 22c/1304084.  Dated 1999.  Size 8 (ht. 180 - 188cm, ch. 99 - 107cm).  Typical olive green nomex flying suit with full front zip, zipped chest pockets, knee pockets/knee board provision, lower leg pockets, waist side seam entry pockets, zipped lower legs, pen pockets, velcro adjustable waist and ankle tabs etc.  In excellent, very lightly used condition.  This was issued to pilot Ron Shimmons of No.6 Air Experience Flight and has his wing/name patch velocroed in place.  Shimmons joined the RAF in 1963 and flew with 111, 11 and 92 squadrons on Lightnings, Phantoms, Tornadoes, Devons and Chipmunks.  He also flew with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, piloting both the Spitfire and Hurricane.   Purchased directly from the pilot.   A superb suit.  Stock code S23207.
