Stores reference 22c/2703. Suits, Flying, Lightweight, Mk.7. Size 3 (Ht. 64-68", Wt. less than 160lbs). Intended for maximum heat load under hot conditions. Pale blue linen one-piece flying suit zipped from the crotch to the neck with the usual array of pockets. Zipped at the ankles with Velcro adjustable cuffs and waist. The material is generally quite good bar some small fray holes and a few larger holes around the backside area as shown in the photographs. The main zip, one chest zip, both side entry and ankle zips are all good. The other chest zip and leg map pocket zip need freeing up, one leg pocket zip is broken and the other has a few missing teeth and is best left closed. The suit appears to have had reinforcing patches sewn at the elbows and knees, subsequently removed. Labelled and 1966 dated. A reasonable example. Stock code S22049.
