'Binoculars, Prismatic 6 x 30'. Stores reference 6E/293. Marked with Air Ministry King's crown and reference numbers. 6 x 30 optics. These show some paint loss and general wear but they remain quite presentable. The lenses are reasonably clear but the eyepieces are rather stiff to move so prism adjustment, allowing for individual differences, isn't as easy as it should be. I imagine light lubrication would improve the problem. This pattern of binocular was provided for spotting and identifying objects at long range, from the ground or in the air, and for other reconnaisance duties. Fair/reasonably good used condition.
