Stores reference 9/335. By The Royal Sovereign Pencil Company Ltd. 'Yellow paint' colour chinagraph pencils. Stamped with both the manufacturer's details, A. Crown M. markings and reference number. These were used on RAF bases and particularly by aircrew Navigators to mark routes on maps and make general notes etc. Light storage wear but in excellent unused condition. Incredibly rare to find. We've had 'War Drawing', 'Utility' and 'Stationary Office (SO) marked examples but never Air Ministry. Just the ticket to complete your Navigator bag or table display.
