Small black painted wooden block with the number '09' painted in white on two sides as shown - this enabled the information to be viewed from both sides. With a period slot-head screw to the bottom side. Approximately 25 x 25 x 9mm. This came with other metal raid blocks, counters and operations room equipment. Although we have been unable to acertain their precise function they were probably used to indicate numbers/strength or height of aircraft. Good used. Stock code M25334-26.
