Small black painted wooden blocks with numbers painted in white on two sides as shown - this enabled the information to be viewed from both sides. Drilled to the bottom side so probably used/displayed on a small rod. Approximately 25 x 15 x 9mm. These came with other metal raid blocks, counters and operations room equipment. Although we have been unable to acertain their precise function they were probably used to indicate numbers/strength or height of aircraft. Good used.
