Stores ref. 5A/3392. Grey painted metal torch with a solid perspex rod extending from the end of the housing containing the bulb. Sliding switch to side. Unscrews to take a couple of 'D' battery cells. Some wear and pitting - possibly repainted at some point? Faint reference numbers visible. Very good overall condition and would probably still work. Used by groundcrews to direct taxiing aircraft on airfield runways. Only one remaining. Stock code M17648.
