We have been fortunate to locate a small quantity of incredibly rare Operations room pieces used to display important information relating to an enemy raid. When details of aircraft were received at Group Filter room level it was interpreted on a map table using plotting blocks, 'counters' in the form of coloured arrows, discs and shields and these information holders/stands. They are of basic construction in painted folded metal with a paperclip soldered to them such that information appertaining to the raid could be slotted into place. They came with small cards having the names of various aircraft stencilled on them (see examples in the photos but note they are not included). Approximately 6.3cm wide, 1cm deep and 2.5cm tall. The green base paint is typical of that used on wartime airframes. Some wear/paint loss but in very good overall condition. A fantastic opportunity to create an Operations room display.
