Rare hanging plaque used in RAF Filter and Sector Operations Rooms during the Battle of Britain and beyond to display important information relating to an enemy raid. This relatively crude single-sided diamond shaped tin plaque measures approximately 50 x 30mm, is hand-painted in white, with the letter 'C' in black. It has a hole at the top so that it could be hung on some kind of tote board. A fantastic opportunity to create a small Operations Room display. Stock code M26045.
