By Ashworth Bros. of Hanley, Staffordshire. 'Real Ironstone China'. Large oval serving dish approximately 33.5 x 27cm x 3cm. With transfer printed 'R.A.F.' King's crown mark on the rim. There are a few firing faults and the glaze is crackled throughout but these cannot be felt and there are no obvious cracks. Maker's marks to the underside. Fair/quite good used. Stock code C26339.
