Manufactured by A.J. Wilkinson, Royal Staffordshire Pottery. A white ceramic soap dish approximately 13cm diameter and 2.7cm deep. The base is pierced with a series of holes to allow water to drain though. Marked on the rim with 'R.A.F.' and King's crown within a blue circle. The glaze is a little yellowed, has some crazing and there is a crack on the rim edge. Priced accordingly. In fair condition and displays well. Quite a rare find - we only find one every couple of years or so. As used on wartime RAF bases. Stock code C23004.
