Stores reference 22c/167. The frame is in excellent condition with virtually no paint loss and only minor marks. It is finished in the less commonly found satin brown paint rather than black. The noespiece leather is good and the backing chamois remains quite clean. Very unusually all four original rubber facepads are in excellent shape and remain pliable. Both clear lenses are excellent. The strap components are equally good throughout and have clear Air Ministry markings. The flipshield, or more correctly 'Screen, Anti-Glare (22c/113) is fitted with the bayonet hinge having an enlosed spring. The shield itself has minor warping and light marking. Overall an excellent pair of used goggles. Stock code G18518.
