Stores reference 22c/167. The frame is in good condition with fairly minor paint loss/rubbing. There is minor distortion and one of the eight rivets at the top has 'popped' - see photographs. The nosepiece leather and backing chamois are both very good. Each of the original rubber facepads have deteriorated/perished but their overall shape is better than many found today. Fitted with an excellent pair of clear glass lenses that display very well but are no longer truly laminated. The strap loops and springs are excellent and the leather section is clearly stamped with Air Ministry reference marks but the strap end roll is absent. No anti-glare / flipshield fitted. A good '+' used pair. Stock code G23093.
