Stores reference 22c/827. The frame is in fair condition, a little distorted at each side with paint loss/chipping. Both frame nuts are original. The leather surround is rather flattened/solid, shows wear and damage at the sides and has become partially detached on the upper left side - see photographs. The backing chamois is complete but soiled and the nosepiece leather remains pliable. Fitted with clear glass lenses, one quite good, the other with delamination marks and cracks. Whilst the webbing strap is soiled, stretched and lacks elastication, the metal componants are largely free of rust and verdigris. A heavily used pair of goggles suitable for both RAF and USAAF displays. Stock code G22828.
