Stores reference 22G/498.  'Spectacles, Anti-Glare, Type E1. With Case.  Fitted With Chlorex Or Infrex Glasses'.   EPNS wire frames with circular glass lenses, wrap around side-arms and leather side-shields. Light tarnishing and verdigris to the frames. Excellent side-shields. Very good lenses.  Complete with metal tin of issue having Air Ministry markings etc.  Rare 'Working Pattern' example with original label and lead seal attached.  The label is dated 13th August 1941 with later inspection dates.  Working or sealed pattern equipment is essentially a sample of a particular item that is identical to the 'standard pattern' kept at A.I.D. Kidbrooke.  This ensured that when working patterns were supplied to manufacturers all equipment produced was to the same correct specifications.  Very good used to excellent overall.
