Stores reference 22/13. One of the classic 'Battle of Britain' pattern goggles. The frame is good but has some rubbing and paint loss on exposed points. All of the frame screws are original but one frame 'stop' is absent. The leather surrounds are also quite good and the internal padding remains supple. Both lenses have light scuffs and surface marking but display well. All of the strap springs are excellent. The leather strap section has notable surface wear and cracking and the buckle is lightly corroded. The strap is embossed with Royal Canadian Air Force reference markings and 1942 date.
