Unusual WW1 period map or document case manufactured using rexine, an early 'leatherette' material. Approximately 22 x 29cm with a flapped closure secured with two press studs. A strip of material along the upper edge has four eyelets, a small tab at the bottom has one, allowing the case to be secured to an airman or airframe. Fading/worn transfer printed 'AVRO' logo on the front. Some general soiling and wear but in very good overall condition. Stock code M-AVRO.
