Small part cut from the Zeppelin 'L33' that crashed at New Hall Farm, Little Wigborough, Essex on September 24th 1916 following damage from anti-aircraft fire. The crew managed to escape from the craft shortly before it exploded and were arrested by a local policeman.
This small part has been cut into a Maltese style cross and is engraved 'ZEPP L33'. Overall size is approx. 30mm x 30mm. It has an attached linen label with typed information thereon. A lovely period souvenir. Stock code M16958.
