High quality nickel plated  frames with a threaded central adjuster bar.  Dark brown/black padded leather cushions and curved clear acetate lenses.  Fitted with a simple tan coloured elasticated strap with adjuster clasp and 'hook' fastener.  The ventilated goggle frame is excellent and the lenses have relatively light scuffs/scratches.  The cushions look quite good but have hardened, cracked in places and there is some distortion to the right pad (as worn).  The close up photos make this look worse than it is and the cushions appear to be stable and quite robust.  The strap has deteriorated somewhat, lacks elasticity and there is surface corrosion on the metal parts.  No markings whatsoever but they are similar in appearance to some of the Luxor range (5s/6s) and coincidentally, come in a clearly marked Luxor No.5 alloy case.  To be clear, these are not Luxors but a good set of goggles typical of the private purchase style favoured by many U.S. Army Air Corps and RAF pilots during the interwar and early WW2 period.  Stock code G26350.
