High quality nickel plated frames with central 'barrel' screw adjuster. White foam rubber cushions and clear glass lenses. Fitted with a simple white elasticated trap with friction adjuster clasp. The frames and lenses are in excellent condition. The 'LUXOR' marked rubber cushions are a little soiled but remain in good shape and are completely flexible. The strap elastic is grubby but remains strong and the distinctive metal components are excellent. The goggles come in the original card carton, typical of Luxor goggles. A lovely set of goggles typical of the private purchase style favoured by many RAF pilots during the interwar and early WW2 period. Good Luxor's are hard to find and highly sought after.
