By D Lewis Ltd. of Great Portland Street., London.  Almost identical to their model 209 aviation goggle fitted with triplex lenses.  Also very similar in appearance to the official issue RAF MK.II goggles with pear-shaped white metal frames, woven silk backing with velvet and fur trim (the model 209 has rubber cushions in place of the fur).  Simple elastic strap, adjustable via friction clasps.  Fitted with clear 'Triplex' glass lenses.  Condition is very good '+' to excellent bar light surface corrosion on the frame & metal strap components.  The lenses appear to be free of delamination,  the backing is in good order and the strap retains some elasticity.  Typical of the goggles worn during the interwar period.  Stock code G25527.
