Pear-shaped white metal frames with a fur edged woven silk backing. Fitted with clear glass lenses and a simple elastic strap, adjustable via friction clasps. There are no specific manufacturer's details but the frame is marked 'Made In England'. These are very similar to the D. Lewis model 209 aviation goggle. Condition is excellent bar light delamination marks on the lenses. Typical of the goggles worn during the Great War / interwar period. Stock code G26357.
