Sgt. P.W. Farnsworth RAFVR 1925 - 2006. My dad would have been 100 today. He was a cadet with Oxford University Air Squadron in February 1944 and trained as a Wireless Operator (Air), ending up as an aircrew signaller. The war ended before he was posted to a squadron, I guess he was lucky, things could have turned out very differently.
