R.A.F. Air Diagram 2564, Sheet 1 of 1, February 1943.  Merlin Engine Installation Connections.  Air Ministry, prepared by the Ministry of Aircraft Production.  Printed by S.P. & C.  Approximately 110 x 75cm.  Printed on thick paper this super poster has illustrations of the famous Merlin engine with a key providing information on the various numbered parts.  The Merlin VIII and 30 was mainly used by the Fleet Air Arm in various wartime aircraft including the Fulmars Mk.1/Mk.II and the Barracuda Mk.1.  Overall condition is reasonable, this one being a bit better than the other Merlin poster currently listed.  Although it as been stored rolled there is creasing, wear, dog-eared corners, small edge tears and quite a few old taped repairs, mainly to the rear.  Clear official markings and 1943 date.  This lovely rare poster is large, displays very well and would make an impressive piece if framed.  Stock code P8072.
