By The Palter Cap Co., Toronto, Canada. Size 71/4. Tan cotton twill helmet fitted with zipped leather earpieces for the receivers. Green woollen mix lining and cotton twill donut earpieces. Two buckled goggle straps at the back and a chamois backed canvas chinstrap with friction buckle fastening. Similar to the British FAA N-type helmet. The cloth is in excellent condition, very clean and without damage. The earpieces and lining are equally good and are fitted with an excellent pair of RCAF sponge cushions. Minor wear and soiling on the chamois of the chinstrap. Labelled inside the crown and with Canadian inspection marks/date on the chintab. A lovely helmet that has probably never been used.
