Post WW2 Spanish helmet copied directly from the wartime Regia Aeronautica / Italian Air Force summer weight flying helmet. Produced in fine olive drab cotton with a simple brown cotton lining. Twin leather chinstraps fasten at either side using single pronged buckles. Goggle straps to rear. Press studded 'flaps' at each side for receivers. Unwired. There is some wear to the chinstraps but otherwise in very good overall condition. Virtually identical to the WW2 italian helmet and would make an ideal substitute. Rare to find. Stock code H19966A.
