USAAF, Gage, De-Icing, Pressure, AN5771-3. Manufactured by the Electric Auto-Lite Co. Approximately 6 x 6 x 4.5cm. Luminous numbers, needle and text. As found on the pilot's overhead compass panel of the the B-17 Flying Fortress. Also fitted to the B-24 Liberator and B-29 Superfortress. With a 1943 contract mark. When the aircraft's de-icing system was engaged this indicator displayed the pressure being applied to the rubber surface de-icer boots along the leading edges of the wings. A bit grubby and the data plate is a little difficult to read but otherwise in very good order. Available to UK addresses only. Stock code M25372.
