Suit, Summer, Flying AN6550. Size medium (M38) but measures approx. 42" at the chest (pit to pit, zipped) and 35" at belt height. Introduced in April 1943 to replace the A-4 this is a lightweight one-piece zip fronted pale green poplin suit with buttoned, flapped pockets at the chest and lower legs. Buttoned ankle straps. The cloth is in excellent clean condtion showing very little wear or use. Original brass Talon zip and belt. Perhaps the most widely used suit by the AAF during WW2. Super example. Stock code S22370.
