Seal brown leather flying suit trousers with full length zips running from waist to ankle on each leg, zipped side entry pockets, fly zip and strap and buckle closure at the waist. Flapped pockets at the knee, one with additional pen pocket under the flap. Press stud closures at the ankle and a pair of press studs and small deliberate hole on the lower legs suggest they were originally fitted with a strap and heating element/cable, now long removed. A similar hole on one side of the waist is also be a wiring exit point. The leather is very supple, retains good colour and in very good overall condition. All the Talon branded zips function well and all but one retain a leather puller tag. Some wear to the leather covered friction buckle. The vendor told me that these were originally lined in a heavy cream coloured cotton drill with a wool blanket interlining but this has been removed as shown. Although there are no visible markings these are very similar to those worn by the USN and Civil Air Patrol. Possibly private purchase? Priced accordingly and excellent for display.
