USAC B-7 flying goggles

Code: G29532

RESERVED

By The Chas Fisher Spring Co. of New York.  Excellent original 'streamline' vented frames marked 'USAC GOGGLE TYPE B-7' at the bridge.  Fitted with an excellent pair of original American Optical (AO) marked green tinted glass lenses and one-piece rubber face cushion.  This remains very good, is crack free and the backing chamois isn't too dirty.  The strap lacks elasticity and has light wear and soiling.  The B-7 goggle was standardised for use by the US Air Corps in 1933 and saw wide use until late 1943 when it was superceded by the very similar AN6530.  A really good pair of these rarer American goggles.  Stock code G29532.
