Jacket, Flying, Man's, Intermediate, Type G-1. By Brill Bros. Size 44. Physically measures approximately 43.5". This is a 1970s 'D' series Vietnam war period jacket, MIL-J-7823D(WP), Contract No. DSA-100-71-C-0141 (1971). Manufactured in seal brown goatskin with matching rayon/nylon lining. The leather is in excellent overall condition, strong, clean, and aside from minor scuffs, free of damage. The letters 'USN' are pierced into the zip flap. The original waistband has a few holes and some fraying along the lower front edge. There are some darns at the ends of both knitted cuffs but nothing serious. Good Dynel faux fur collar with a buttoned closure strap. The original brass Scovil zip is fully functional and the lining is undamaged and complete with label and leather hanger. Stock code J27506.
