Jackets, W.A.A.F. Tailored by The Rego Clothiers Ltd. Size 6 (Ht. 5'3 - 5'4", Bust 35 - 36", Wt. 27 - 28"). 1940 pattern with buttoned lower pockets and is actually 1940 dated. Smooth barathea tunic complete with corporal stripes and printed shoulder eagles having woven 'A's beneath denoting volunteer auxiliary status. The cloth is in reasonably good condition. There are a couple of small moth holes near the breast pockets and a small repair to the lower edge of the left breast pocket (see photos). In addition the belt is not a perfect colour match and appears to have been restitched. It would appear that the sleeves may have been turned back/shortened too. It looks like this could be reversed if required. There is some wear to the lining around the armpits but nothing serious. Named. Labelled with clear 1940 date. Stock code U19025.
